The record itself is kept as Genesis service record, digital in the UK from around 2021. Whether a paper book is issued depends on the model and year.
Route 1: The owner portal
If you own the car, the My Genesis / Genesis app account is the first place to look. You'll need to prove ownership to link the vehicle.

Known quirks & gaps
- Genesis arrived in 2021 selling online only, with studios in shopping centres rather than dealerships. That has been changing: the brand was brought under Hyundai Motor UK in 2024 and opened its first dedicated UK dealership, with Arnold Clark, in July 2026 — the studios remain alongside it.
