How to Access Cupra Digital Service Records (UK)
The Cupra digital record system
CUPRA is young enough that every car has a clean, entirely digital history on the VW Group system, and owners can read it in the app once a Garage has registered them. The main quirk is lineage rather than access: pre-2018 CUPRA-badged cars were SEATs, so their history sits under that brand.
The record itself is kept as Digital Service Schedule (DSS), digital in the UK from around 2018. Newer cars may have no paper book at all — the record lives entirely in the system, keyed to the VIN.
Route 1: The owner portal
If you own the car, the MyCupra / CUPRA Connect account is the first place to look. You'll need to prove ownership to link the vehicle.
- Register a CUPRA ID and sign in to the MyCupra app or portal.
- Add the vehicle by VIN.
- Complete ownership registration at a CUPRA Garage with your V5C and photo ID.
- Open the service history section to view completed work.
CUPRA became a standalone brand in 2018 but sits on the same VW Group Digital Service Schedule as SEAT, with the same in-person ownership registration before history appears.
Route 2: Through a dealer
CUPRA Garages (often co-located with SEAT) retrieve records by VIN. Buyer access and fees are set locally.

Route 4: An instant report
If you don’t own the car yet — you’re buying used — or you simply want the record without a dealer visit, an aggregated report pulls the franchised-network data against the VIN and returns it in one place. It’s the most direct route when account access isn’t available. You can get the Cupra report without a dealer visit.

Does the MyCupra / CUPRA Connect app show full service history?
Yes — MyCupra / CUPRA Connect is one of the more transparent owner apps and can show completed services carried out in the Cupra network, not just upcoming reminders. It still only works for the account holder.
Can an independent garage access my Cupra service history?
Not really — independent garages can buy technical and repair information to work on your car, but they generally can't read your full franchised Cupra service history. SERMI, which is sometimes mentioned here, went live in the UK on 1 April 2026, but it governs access to security-related data (keys and immobilisers), not the maintenance record.
